By using the Miniature Perfume Shoppe website (www.MiniaturePerfumeShoppe.com), you agree to follow and be bound by the terms of service and user agreement (“the Terms of Service & User Agreement”) and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Furthermore, it is your responsibility to review the Terms of Service & User Agreement periodically. If at anytime you find the Terms of Service & User Agreement to be unacceptable or if you do not agree to the Terms of Service & User Agreement as listed here and in our master policy document, please do not use this site.

100 CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
We want your experience at MPS to be the very best one possible. Your complete satisfaction –actually exceeding your expectations – as a customer is our goal. For questions regarding our merchandise, company, or policies or to make suggestions or comments, you may e-mail us anytime.

By visiting and using our site, you consent to our Terms of Service & User Agreement and online Privacy Policy. Should we decide to revise our Terms of Service & User Agreement or Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this page. The most recent update and/or modification is always noted at the end of this document.

300 SECURITY
MPS has made it a priority to provide a secure shopping experience by protecting the information of the customer. We (MPS, PayPal, Auctiva Commerce, and our other trusted Providers) maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard nonpublic information about you. Personal/sensitive information including credit cards, social security numbers, and financial data that customers provide is transmitted and encrypted through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and none are stored on our server. This information is stored securely on the website of our payment gateway (PayPal) that is required to keep your information confidential and is solely responsible for its security and maintenance. All credit card payments are processed securely through PayPal.com on their (not our) secure website. As an additional measure of security for our customers, our website(s) are protected by an active SSL certificate (pending). You may shop safely and with confidence at MPS.

401 CREDIT CARDS (PayPal):
At checkout, simply select PayPal as your payment option. You decide whether to pay with your credit card or PayPal funds through your verified bank account. We make every effort to ship your order within 24 hours after receiving your payment. Please notice that using the PayPal Express button on our site requires you to have a PayPal account. Otherwise, you will be purchasing anonymously and only be able to pay by using a major credit or debit card via the PayPal website.

402 PAYPAL E-CHECKS: Orders placed are typically shipped the same day your PayPal e-check is processed through your verified bank account and transferred to our PayPal account. Processing time via PayPal typically takes 3-5 business days. 

403 PERSONAL CHECKS: Your personal check is welcomed. Orders placed are typically shipped the same day your check clears our bank. Please allow one week to ten days for the processing of your personal check.

404 CASHIER'S CHECKS & MONEY ORDERS: You may pay for your items via Cashier’s Check or Money Order that are drawn on U.S. funds. Orders paid for with this method are typically shipped the same day payment is received.

405 CODs are not accepted at this time.

500 DISCOUNTS/MINIATURE PERFUME SOCIETY
All visitors to our website are encouraged to register and create an account with MPS and to join The Miniature Perfume Society. The benefits of doing BOTH include saving 15% on every perfume bottle purchase (no minimum purchase required), free shipping on orders over $50.00 (U.S. residents only), and a free personalized Wishlist. 600 SALES TAX
The parent company of MPS, AAWLAW Ventures, LLC., is based in Harris County, Texas and is therefore required by law to collect a 7¼% (.0725) sales tax for all purchases made by customers residing within that state. Sales tax collection for states other than Texas are not required at this time.

700 SHIPPING AND PROCESSING
MPS utilizes the USPS (The United States Postal Service) as its shipping provider to mail purchases to the contiguous 48 United States, Alaska, and Hawaii. International shipping is also available to select countries. With advance notification we are happy to ship to APO or FPO addresses. 

We ship orders Monday-Friday. Orders usually ship within twenty-four (24) hours of payment received with orders placed on Saturday or Sunday being shipped the following Monday. Merchandise purchased on National holidays will typically be mailed the next business day.

We offer a standard flat-rate shipping option that includes a nominal processing fee. You can be assured that we make every effort to see that our shipping fees are reasonable and customary based on the weight of your purchase, your zip code, and the additional options that you may select. Unfortunately, the actual costs of mailing items and the additional burden of complicated shipping restrictions and regulations, including slower delivery times, have never been greater. These circumstances are completely beyond our control. We are happy to answer any questions that you may have in advance of your purchase and do our best to provide you with shipping estimates when you provide us with your zip code.

Our standard shipping method is USPS 1^st Class Mail or Parcel Post based on weight and location. In addition, we are pleased to offer insurance, mailing confirmation, and expedited shipping methods such as USPS Priority, Express, or Overnight Mail for additional fees. Please be aware that we do not offer Saturday delivery at this time.

 Our current shipping rates are:
-Free Shipping: All purchases over $50.00 (For MPS members residing in the United States.) 
-Standard MPS Shipping: $2.95+
-Standard USPS Priority Shipping: $4.95+
-AK/HI: USPS Priority Shipping: $4.95+
-Standard MPS 1st Class International Shipping: $9.95+ 
-Standard MPS International Priority Shipping: $34.90+ (Varies by Country; Some restrictions apply.)

If you choose to pay for your purchase through PayPal, we require that your mailing address be PayPal verified.

Expedited orders placed after noon (12:00 pm, CST) will ship the following business day.

Orders shipped to Hawaii and Alaska will only be shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

Orders shipped Internationally via 1st Class mail are uninsurable. We cannot guarantee delivery and no refunds will be given when items are lost or damaged in transit.

When requested, we will gladly combine shipping when you purchase multiple items. Please contact us in advance of checkout and we are happy to provide you with an estimate.

800 THINK GREEN
Our processing area uses clean, recycled materials in a smoke-free and pet-free environment to carefully package and ship your items. Not only is this earth friendly, but it also helps us to continue to be able to offer you discounts on our merchandise and to minimize your shipping and processing costs. 

900 RETURNED MERCHANDISE
At MPS your complete satisfaction is our goal. And as more than one thousand previously satisfied customers will attest, we believe you will find us to be fair, reasonable, and most importantly, honest.  With our accurate descriptions, clear photos, and full disclosure of any condition issues, the request for a refund is rare. However, in the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are always happy to offer refunds or store credits according to the following terms and conditions:

Requests to return merchandise for a refund or store credit must occur within three (3) days upon your receipt of the item, explaining fully the reasons for your request. If approved, the item must be returned to us (at the customer’s expense) within ten (10) days of the date of original purchase.

Approved refunds will only be made for the total original price paid for the item itself by the customer. Store credits automatically expire after a period of six months. Unless a significant mistake was made on the part of MPS, the amount originally paid by the customer for shipping and processing is non-refundable. In addition, the cost of returning the item to MPS is also at the customer’s expense and is non-refundable.

1000 LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS
For items that become lost in transit or arrive damaged, a refund will only be given if the customer has purchased shipping insurance at the time of sale. Although we are happy to assist you, customers with lost or damaged merchandise must file a claim with USPS for reimbursement. Under no circumstances will a refund be made by MPS, nor can we assist in recovery from USPS, when a buyer declines to purchase insurance at the time of purchase and the item is either lost in transit or arrives in a damaged condition. Cases of lost or damaged merchandise are extremely rare, but for their additional peace of mind and protection, customers are encouraged to purchase shipping insurance at the time of purchase.

1100 ORDER TRACKING
If as a registered user on our store-website you provide a valid e-mail address to MPS when you order, you will receive an e-mail confirming that your order has been received. A second e-mail confirmation will be sent when the order is shipped. All Priority Mail shipments will include a tracking number that may be used to track the progress of your shipment through the official USPS website. Also as a registered MPS user, you may check the status of your order by going to the "My Orders" page under "My Account" on our store-website.

1200 PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS
MPS attempts to be as accurate as possible when describing our merchandise. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content of our website is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by MPS is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition (or same condition in which it was sold for vintage items) for a full refund minus the shipping and processing charges. “Buyer’s remorse” is not considered a legitimate reason for returning an item.

1300 PRICING
In the event that a product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price by us, MPS reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. MPS reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, MPS shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

1400 YOUR ACCOUNT
If you visit or use MPS or any of our other company owned websites, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you are under the age of 18, you may use MPS only with involvement of a parent or guardian. MPS reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our sole discretion.

1500 COOKIES
MPS, in conjunction with our Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Auctiva Commerce, eBay, PayPal and various other trusted Providers use small informational text files called “cookies” that are unique and can only be read by our website when you choose to visit us again. These cookies are placed in the customer’s computer to create a better shopping experience and for the customer’s convenience. These small files allow the store to recognize a customer, allowing information to be recalled during the order process. In addition, information is gathered about the customer’s computer, time spent at the site and order history. No information relating to billing profiles or account login is recorded. MPS utilizes cookies only to review the effectiveness of the website and provide useful improvements in the future. Customers who do not allow cookies to be saved on their computer will not be able to download or process certain information and be unable to use the “Wishlist” feature within our store.

1600 ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
When you visit MPS and our other company owned websites, or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. By doing so, you consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail and/or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

From time to time, customers (those who register and complete a transaction on our site) and those individuals who chose to join the Miniature Perfume Society and be added to our mailing list may be invited to receive regular recurring e-mails from us inviting them to join or “opt in” to receive special promotional offers, exclusive discounts, occasional ads, periodic e-Newsletters, and other information about MPS or its company affiliated stores directly in their computer e-mail in-box. At the customer’s sole discretion they may choose to “opt-in” or “opt-out” at any time. Though it is our policy to not share a customer’s personal information with any third party (other than our other company owned sites and trusted Providers), customers and visitors to our website(s) do so at their own risk and hold MPS and its affiliated company store sites harmless for any “Spam” that may arise from their decision to receive e-mail communication from us. Customers or visitors to our website who have requested to receive regular e-mails, offers, notices, and periodic e-Newsletters from us may unsubscribe or opt-out at any time by notifying us here.

2002 DISPUTES
Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to MPS or our affiliated company stores or to products you purchase through our websites shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in Harris County, Texas, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate MPS’s intellectual property rights, MPS and AAWLAW Ventures, LLC™ may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the state of Texas, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator's award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
