ABOUT US ~ Leslie Ann White 

Who would have thought that a gift from her mother of one small Chanel bottle over thirty years ago would not only develop into a lifetime of miniature perfume bottle collecting, but also start Leslie Ann’s professional career in the cosmetics and fragrance industry? But that is precisely what happened.

 

Beginning as a drug store salesperson (Walgreen’s) where cosmetic companies such as Coty, Revlon, Max Factor, and Helena Rubinstein were in vogue, landed her two years later on a department store sales floor (Foley’s) selling for Prescriptives. In turn, her success in that role led to expanded duties as both a manager of the entire cosmetic and fragrance department and Assistant Buyer for cosmetics and fragrances for twelve department stores.

 

But Leslie Ann’s “big break” came following a successful interview with Clinique Labs in New York City that launched her six-year career as a Clinique Account Executive responsible for 24 accounts and $10 million dollars in annual sales! All the while, her passion for collecting miniature perfume bottles continued to be (and still is) her most favorite way of spending her free time.

 

Now in its tenth year, all of Leslie Ann’s “perfume dreams” came true on Valentine’s Day, 2009 with the opening of her very own Miniature Perfume Shoppe on the world-wide-web and is proud to be Auctiva Commerce's first store devoted exclusively to the miniature perfume bottle collector. With her extensive cosmetic and fragrance background, Leslie Ann brings to MPS both a passion for perfume bottle collecting and an intimate knowledge of the fragrance industry.

 

And today, with an ever-expanding inventory of 2,000+ miniature perfume bottles and as an active member of the IPBA (International Perfume Bottles Association), Leslie Ann still loves collecting her Chanel, but is now equally excited to help others build collections of their favorite fragrance and miniature perfume bottle.

 

Finally, Leslie Ann is also "mom" to three beautiful children and is blessed to work alongside her husband, Allen, who also serves as her business partner, webmaster, and (blush) truelove.

BOTTLE RATING GUIDELINES


With condition and rarity being the two most important factors, we utilize a 5-Star method of grading all miniature perfume bottles in our inventory. A complete and more detailed list of all of our grading guidelines is included in my MPS Bottle Rating Guide (coming soon.)


1-Star = Poor (* MPS does not sell bottles in this condition)
2-Star = Good
3-Star = Very Good
4-Star = Excellent
5-Star = Mint

RETURNS

 

At Miniature Perfume Shoppe™ your complete satisfaction is our goal. Requests to return merchandise must occur within three (3) days of receipt. Customers have ten (10) days from the purchase date to return merchandise in their original condition. Items lost or damaged in transit are only refundable if the customer purchased shipping insurance. We are am happy to assist you in filing your claim with the designated carrier. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION AND POLICIES

 

Miniature Perfume Shoppe™ (MPS) utilizes the U.S.P.S. (United States Postal Service) as its exclusive shipping provider to mail customer purchases to the contiguous 48 United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and select International countries, including: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, South Korea, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan. (Others with permission.) 

 

Our online store is open 24-7-365 for your shopping convenience and typically ships orders placed Monday-Saturday within twenty-four (24) hours (noon next day) of receiving payment. Merchandise purchased on Sunday and National holidays is typically mailed the next business day.

 

At Miniature Perfume Shoppe™, our goal is to deliver your purchase in the quickest and most economical way possible. Utilizing standardized, flat-rate shipping options (see our shipping pricing tables by clicking here), you can be assured that we make every effort to see that our shipping charges are reasonable and customary based on the destination, weight, and quantity of perfume bottles that you select. Based on the shipping options that you choose, please allow between 3-10 business days for your order to arrive. Also, please note that all of our shipping options include a nominal handling charge that covers the handling, order processing, item selection, packaging, and transportation of the miniature perfume bottles you select for purchase.

 

Finally, please note that all International orders shipped via our MPS Economy, Standard, or Priority options are, unfortunately, uninsurable by our shipping provider. Although we have a very successful track record of shipping  Internationally and delivery problems overseas for us are rare, Miniature Perfume Shoppe™ cannot guarantee delivery (and no refunds will be given) if the items you purchase are either lost or damaged in transit. In other words, purchases  that are shipped overseas are made at your own risk. Sorry, these circumstances are beyond our control. Thank you.

VINTAGE & ANTIQUE ITEMS

 

All of the fabulous perfume miniatures we offer for sale are presented with the intention of being sold to perfume bottle collectors and are not intended for use as a personal fragrance. Also, most of our miniature perfume bottles are vintage and may be empty, full, or anything in between. For bottles that still contain any amount of liquid, we do not determine if the fragrance is still wearable. Of course, there is  always the possibility that the contents are perfectly good and usable. We just make no guarantee to that effect. We encourage you to always read the details of our descriptions carefully as we do our very best to provide you with a complete "picture" of the perfume miniature you are considering adding to your collection.
